People often come to this forum hoping to find a dowser who can help them find a lost item, missing pet or any of several other problems. We would like to point out that this forum is open to anyone, not just BSD members and not just dowsers; and as such we cannot guarantee that the person who may be offering to assist you with your problem is a competent or responsible dowser, or even a dowser at all.
Please note therefore, that any such transactions between members on this forum are not in any way sanctioned or approved by the BSD, and the BSD cannot be held responsible for any consequences arising.
One of the main remits of the BSD is to maintain a Register of Professional Dowsers
covering all areas of dowsing interest. Members on the Professional Register are required to adhere to strict standards of professional and ethical behaviour, and all Professional members have been vetted and approved by BSD Council.
If you require the services of a dowser, it is strongly recommended that you contact one of the Professional members listed on the Register by clicking on the link above. You can search through the various categories of dowsers and contact them directly from there.
If you are unsure what particular specialism of dowser would suit your needs best, then please contact the BSD office
; they will be happy to advise you on your situation and will recommend a choice of professional practitioners best suited to your requirements. This advisory service is completely free to the public, and the office staff will provide you with a shortlist of recommended professional dowsers covering your area.(edited 13 August 2009 - Professional Register now available online - GG)
