Just came across this, from Wales Online...

Have the Knights Templar and the Knights Hospitaller had a positive impact on Wales?

They are regarded among history’s most mysterious organisations. But have the Knights Templar and the Knights Hospitaller actually had a positive impact on Wales over the ages?

I've now corrected the dead links in the first post.

Also I've posted a new article:

Counting Down the Moon - The Astrology of Gutun Owain (PDF - 96 KB)

Gutun Owain was a mediaeval Welsh bard with a forty-year connection to Valle Crucis abbey where he was their chief scribe - and also something of an astrologer!

I hope you find this interesting.

A new Stellarium model centred on Coedd Hyrddin - the hill above Valle Crucis. From here you can take in the expansive scenery including Castell Dinas Bran and Valle Crucis abbey below.

Viewed from here, sunrise over Dinas Bran seems to happen at Samhain...

I've written a new article on Dinas Bran, Orion, Samhain and the Holy Grail ... and made some minor mods to my Stellarium model of Coed Hyrddin.

Direct links are here...

The "beta version" of the Guto'r Glyn website is now online:

http://www.gutorglyn.net/

There you may find English translations of Guto's poems as well as the original Welsh. It's still only a "beta-version" so there are some wrinkles which have yet to be sorted out.
