Distant relatives of Richard III have been granted permission for a judicial review of the decision to rebury the king's remains in Leicester.

Reported by the BBC website

Leicester Cathedral has begun a £1m rebuilding project to accommodate the king's tomb while the city council plans to build a £4m visitor centre commemorating his life.
However, the Plantagenet Alliance want the king to be laid to rest in York Minster.
Mr Justice Haddon-Cave said he would grant the review "on all grounds" but warned the parties against beginning an "unseemly, undignified and unedifying" legal tussle.
He urged the parties to "avoid embarking on the legal Wars of the Roses part 2".

They now say he suffered from roundworms!
We will never know if he had a 'dry cough'.

A new design for Richard III's tomb has been revealed by Leicester Cathedral.

Story, complete with graphics, can be found here, courtesy of the BBC website

the process has been complicated by a legal challenge from a group of distant relatives of the king, who call themselves the Plantagenet Alliance.
They want to see the remains placed in York, where Richard had strong links, and last month won a judicial review of the licence that says he should go to Leicester.
