Rupert Sheldrake experiments

Postby Grahame Gardner » Tue Aug 04, 2015 10:18 am

Rupert Sheldrake has some new telephone-based experiments on his website.

The first one (available in UK, USA and Canada) requires two people, and aims to see if it feels different when someone is listening to you on the phone, compared to when they are not.

The second one (available in UK, USA, Canada, India and New Zealand) requires three participants, and aims to test whether people can tell who is calling them when the phone rings, before they answer it.

There's a third experiment requiring two people with internet-connected computers in different rooms or buildings, which aims to see if you can tell when your partner is looking at the same picture or listening to the same music as you.

Click on any of the links above to get to the relevant experiment page.
The trouble with having an open mind, of course, is that people will insist on coming along and trying to put things in it - Terry Pratchett.
