Solar wind 'triggers lightning on Earth'

Postby simonwheeler » Thu May 15, 2014 5:13 am

Activity on the sun is sparking lightning strikes here on Earth, a study suggests.
Scientists have found that when gusts of high-speed solar particles enter our atmosphere, the number of lightning bolts increases.

"These solar wind streams are very predictable. We know the Sun rotates every 27 days, so there is a very strong recurrence rate. If we see them at one time, we know 27 days later it will be back again," said Dr Scott.
While the data was collected in Europe, the researchers believe the effect is global.

Story from the BBC website
As we let our own light shine, we unconsciously give other people permission to do the same. As we are liberated from our fear, our presence automatically liberates others.

Those solar outbursts might one day power us to the stars, a huge thin solar panel many miles across like a big bag will collect and focus that energy, to drive along the space ship across the void without the need for fuel or rocket engines.Close to the Sun it would reach top speeds, but out in the darkness of deep space it would reduce to much slower speeds, till that is we approach another Sun which will fill the sails yet again and push us onwards, an ideal remote spaceship which does not have the need for a fast journey, but working 24/7 recording everything it passes and sending back the data.

If we believe the Sun emits solar radiation every 27 days then at some point on the Sun is a place where it leaves the Sun to cross the void of space, and while the solar radiation is always there in some levels it seems every 27 days it increases to much higher levels. So one point on the Sun is some kind of phenomenon where its really increased from the normal everyday levels, a focal point of energy.Learn to face that point at a close distance and you would have free energy for some time from a satellite sitting near Murcury with a large collector/dish at the front picking up this increase in solar energy every 27 days ?
