ASA Complaint

Postby Cookiedog » Thu Oct 25, 2012 3:15 pm

Hi, my father who has been dowsing for health for over 30 years recently had an email from the advertising standards authority asking to substantiate the claims that dowsing with hair could be used to identify allergies, does anyone have any experience or ideas of how to respond?

Hi Cookiedog;

If your father is a BSD member he should contact the office for advice on this matter.

Hi Cookiedog

I will e-mail you privately about this.

I think it best to lock this thread because the kind of people who don't like us dowsers lurk on this forum.

A new website, Freedom 4 Health has been set up to campaign against unfair discrimination by the ASA, and it is certainly worth a read if you have been contacted by the ASA.

There is a new petition on the government website about the Advertising Standards Authority (ASA). This petition points out the failings and inadequacies of the ASA. Any petition that gets 100,000 signatures can be debated in the House of Commons. The petition is here http://epetitions.direct.gov.uk/petitions/58269
